The Tramvia Blau is temporarily closed for modernization works on its infrastructure. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Tramvia Blau
Take a trip up Tibidabo mountain on a historic tram from the Modernista era. The Tramvia Blau will take you to the foot of the Tibidabo funicular following a route that takes you past Modernista and Noucentista buildings that give way to nature and stunning views across Barcelona.
Temporarily out of service
The Tramvia Blau will be temporarily out of service due to facility improvement works. The modernisation of the infrastructure will make it possible to continue enjoying the city's oldest form of transport.
The equivalent journey can be made via Avinguda Tibidabo as far as Plaça Doctor Andreu using bus line 196, which operates daily between 07:30 and 22:00.
A unique experience in a historic tram

Don’t miss the opportunity to take a trip on a historic tram, which dates from 1901, the only survivor of the old tram service that used to operate in Barcelona. But the Tramvia Blau is not only an emblematic mode of transport, it is also a practical service, since it takes you to the Tibidabo funicular by which you can reach the best vantage points of the city: Tibidabo Amusement Park, the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, Torre de Collserola by Norman Foster, and the Fabra Observatory.
