Platja Nova Mar Bella stop
A stop to enjoy the four kilometers of beaches in Barcelona and discover old industrial complexes turned into creative clusters.
Beaches, an outdoor leisure center
The Red Route of the Barcelona Bus Turístic runs along the coastline and stops right in front of Nova Mar Bella, one of the beaches with the most local bathers in the city.
Nova Mar Bella beach, located in the Sant Martí district, is one of Barcelona's coastal gems. With a length of approximately 420 meters and an average width of 87 meters, this beach was created during the urban renewal carried out for the 1992 Olympic Games.
It features a volleyball area, perfect for enjoying a match with friends or meeting other visitors.
Nova Mar Bella is known for its accessibility. It has wooden walkways that get as close as possible to the water, adapted showers, and amphibious chairs for people with reduced mobility.
Also at this stop, you can visit Palo Alto, a space managed by a community of artists, including Xavier Mariscal, who occupies the set of warehouses and the courtyard of the Gal and Puigsec textile factory. The space organizes cultural events, exhibitions, and a market where you’ll find all kinds of unique and designer items.
