Port Vell stop
An ideal place to discover the area of the old harbour, from the Columbus Monument to La Barceloneta and the commercial and leisure space bordering the Mediterranean.
Barcelona’s oldest seafront
The Port Vell stop on the Red Route of Barcelona Bus Turístic is located outside the Maremàgnum Shopping Centre, on the Moll d’Espanya, which is also home to the Aquarium, one of Europe’s largest marine centres.
It is a good spot to observe the oldest part of the Port of Barcelona, where the Santa Eulàlia, a schooner from 1918 that the Maritime Museum of Barcelona recovered for the city is docked, or to stroll to the coastal district of La Barceloneta, the city’s seafront neighbourhood par excellence, where you can still find an extensive gastronomic offering of fish and seafood.
