Eixample stop
This stop will give you the chance to explore some of the quieter streets of the popular Sants neighbourhood and, at the same time, to enter the Eixample, where you will find authentic modernist treasures.
A good starting point
This stop can be an interesting starting point to get to know one of the most interesting neighbourhoods in the city: the Eixample. Get to know the former prison La Model, from the inside, now refurbished as a cultural and educational centre; Joan Miró Park, next to the Fire Station, and stroll along the renovated and pleasant street of Consell de Cent, into the heart of the Eixample. Here you will find, among other things, the unique modernist building of the Casa Golferichs, the Lehmann factory, a former factory converted into a cultural centre with bohemian-style workshops, and the modernist Casa Fajol, popularly known as the Casa de la Mariposa (Butterfly House) because of the relief on its façade.
Very close to the stop you can also visit the Sants neighbourhood, with one of the longest shopping streets in Europe, and its delightful neighbourhood life: local shops, low houses and streets made on a human scale.
